New York Fashion Week Men’s featured many collections that took a unique spin on menswear, but no one was as unique as Palmiers du Mal.
Founded in New York City, the modern luxury resort collection designed by Shane Fonner and Brandon Capps is inspired by the lives of artists, travel, sex, and literature. The latest collection titled “The Evil Palms” tells the story of an international diamond heist, and let’s just say these thieves stole more than our jewels. Palmiers du Mal’s 2017.02 collection embodied velvet tracksuits, oversized tops, and Japanese silk-blended sleep shirts that won’t make you snooze.
Designed for the artistic soul, the collection creates a story and a sense of individuality through distinct upholstery and global fabrics. “The first two collections were defining for the brand, and now we wanted to endeavor to tell a deeper narrative,” says Creative Director Shane Fonner.
