Drake teases release date for “Views From The 6”

Drake has confirmed an April release date for his new album Views From The 6. The Toronto native has posted a series of Instagram photos today, all are billboard images that have number six or the word “views” in the corner.

Two days ago Drake sparked release date rumors when he posted a photo of the album name on a Toronto billboard, captioning the picture with, “All Star Weekend 2016.” Briefly after debuting “Summer Sixteen” during an episode of OVO Sound on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio, the rapper explained to fans the release date of April 16th, 2016 and how it corresponds with Toronto’s area code (416).

Although now there are rumors surfacing that the release date for Drake’s new album is April 2nd. Whichever date it maybe fans are eager to hear the long-awaited album that originally was suppose to release in September 2015. While Toronto is preparing for the NBA All Star Weekend, where Drake happens to be Team Canada’s head coach for the Celebrity All-Star Game, I’m sure “6 God” himself will continue to drop some hints during the star-studded weekend.
